New SOCIB App for android released

A new release of the mobile app for Android is now available from Google-Play. The idea behind the application is to allow users to access all the data managed by SOCIB through a simple and user-friendly application. Among the main improvements in this version, one can find:

• a new home design;
• the currents from the HF Radar facility;
• the cruises from the research vessel facility;
• the inclusion of numerical model for wave and hydrodynamics forecasts (temperature, salinity, currents);
• social sharing for fixed station variable charts and beach images.

This app is in line with SOCIB principles related to discoverable, accessible and freely available data.
