JERICO-NEXT (TNA) Website Launched

JERICO-NEXT European project website (http://www.jerico-ri.eu/tna/) has been put into service and it is from now accessible to both specialists and general public. Amongst others, visitors might find the "TNA" section in which useful information regarding this initiative can be accessed. Of special interest are the description of Available Facilities and Access Rules for external users. Additionally, there is a sub-section dedicated to the forthcoming Calls for Application of which there will be one in mid 2016.

The primary objective of the TNA iniciative is to provide coordinated ‘free of charge’ trans-national access to researchers or research teams from academy and industry to original coastal infrastructures operated by the JERICO NEXT consortium. This access opportunity is expected to help building long-term collaborations between users and JERICO-NEXT partners, and to promote innovation and transfer of know-how in the coastal marine sector.

SOCIB plays a role as one of JERICO-NEXT TNA accessible infrastructures by providing access to its Glider Facility. SOCIB holds valuable experience in providing Glider access to External Users and multiple missions were accomplished between 2013 and 2015 in the frame of the European Projects. Various application to the 2016 Call are expected from both well-known and new users.
