Declaration of the ministers of science and technology from G7 emphasizes the need to develop a global initiative for ocean observation

ICTS SOCIB welcomes the declaration of the ministers of science and technology from G7, emphasizing the need to develop a global initiative for ocean observation based on open science, open data infrastructures and the development of regional ocean observing systems. This statement of the ministers of science and technology, aimed at the leaders of the G7, calls for the development of ocean observing systems and the free exchange of data, for a future in line with the objectives of sustainable development (SDG14).
