SOCIB participates in the EMODnet MedSea Checkpoint and EMODnet MedSea Portal, in response to EU Directorate General for Marine Affairs and Fisheries call for tenders MARE/2012/11 – The Mediterranean. The aim of this project is to evaluate the quality of the current monitoring systems in terms of their accessibility, availability, multiple-use, efficiency, reliability, time consistency, space consistency, as well as the planning of technological advancements, new accessibility, new assembly protocols and observational priorities required to meet the challenges mentioned here.



SOCIB is in charge of the Climate and Coastal Protection workpackage and participates in four different workpackages related to Literature Review, Oil Platfotm Leak and Web Site Development.
