Ph.D. in Applied and Computational Physics (Catalonia Polytechnic University UPC, 2015), is the Head of the Beach Monitoring Facility at SOCIB. She has joined SOCIB on 2018 after 2.5 years as postdoc researcher at the University of Twente (The Netherlands), and 1 year as Assistant Professor at the UPC (Spain). From 2010, she has participated in more than 20 international scientific conferences and seminars. From 2012, she has been involved in teaching tasks of both graduate and master levels (UTwente and UPC) and as advisor of several M.Sc Thesis, Master internship and Graduate projects (Water Engineering Master - UTwente, Marine Science Master - Utrecht University, Sorbonne University, Ecole Polytechnique, UIB). Her research is focused on getting more insights in the physics involved on near-shore morphodynamics by integrating detailed numerical models (intra-wave turbulence scale) and process-based models (large and long term scale), both supported with field measurements and laboratory experiments.
