After receiving my degree as an engineer in Catalunya, I decided to move back to Mallorca, my island. Here, I worked as a software developer in Logitravel, in Parc Bit, for one year. Then, my wife-to-be and I decided to leave our jobs and begun a voyage that took us across the Atlantic Ocean in a sailing catamaran and to many Latin America's countries for over a year. When we came back, our travelling style had changed and we wanted to offer visitor to Mallorca and Tuscany (our respective lands) an opportunity to have a deeper connection with the local culture. So, we started our own business. Five years and one pandemic later, we decided to close the business. We just did not have the energy to start all over again when things reopened. Specially after the adventure had been so intense and having been so close to success. I, then, worked on a start-up in Palma that produced high-quality vegan burgers and delivered to the client's home with electric scooters. Unfortunately, the start-up closed due to lack of investment. That's the moment when Juanga had the bad idea of hiring me for SOCIB, where I take care of JERICO-S3 WP11 and SOCIB's metrics and DevOps.
