SOCIB and Sol Hotels - Melia Hotels International have signed a cooperation agreement to support the characterization of Son Bou beach (Menorca)

On Monday October 10, took place in Hotel Sol Milanos-Pingüinos the signature of the agreement between SOCIB and SOL Hotels – Melia Hotels International, which allowed to place a coastal video monitoring station in the hotel located in Son Bou beach.

Among the different coastal and marine observation platforms that are being implemented by SOCIB, the beach monitoring system is one of these systems, that include both coastal video monitoring stations, systematic sampling of sediments and bathymetric surveys in different beaches, such as the one held from the 3rd to the 7th of October, at Son Bou.
