SOCIB data mobile app for iPhone released
SOCIB data mobile app for iPhone is now available on the App Store for your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. SOCIB App gives you access to the latest metocean data from SOCIB’s monitoring stations along the Balearic Coast (Western Mediterranean), including buoys, tide gauges and weather stations.
Data are updated in near real-time giving you information on the present metocean conditions of interest for recreational or management decisions. We will continue to increase the platforms and information available, displaying the new data through this tool.
Specifically SOCIB App gives you access to the following content:
- Map/List of SOCIB fixed platforms.
- Status of the platform.
- Access to the latest data received by each platform.
- Access to different information about SOCIB (institutional, contact, disclaimer, website, etc.).
- Show user's current position on the map.
