Satellite products now available at SOCIB's website

SOCIB collects satellite data from different institutions and missions and generates descriptive images in selected domains such as the Western Mediterranean and the Balearic Sea. These products are useful in the context of operational oceanography, sea surface monitoring or data assimilation due to their high spatial and temporal resolution. Presently generated products include maps of sea surface temperature, absolute dynamic topography (sea surface height), geostrophic currents, and ocean color (chlorophyl-a concentration) generated from available near real time products. Users can locate, view and download high resolution images from any of these parameters, domain and date.
