The construction of the new SOCIB 920 ZODIAC Hurricane has just finished
The construction of the new SOCIB 920 ZODIAC Hurricane has just finished at Vancouver Zodiac installations. SOCIB 920 Zodiac is equipped with reinforced aluminium hull, a cabin, two powerful Volvo engines (2x225 HP) and it will be able to sail at 25 knots cruising speed, allowing rapid response capabilities for glider operations in the Balearic Sea. The cabin will allow a crew of 3/4 persons and a small warehouse/lab space for in mission glider tracking, operation, repair, etc.
