The ICTS SOCIB Terms of Use establish two types of data access for users and institutions: Open Access and On Demand.
Open Access
The ICTS SOCIB Terms of Use establish a particular procedure, outlined in the Agreement of the Scientific, Technological, and Innovation Policy Council on the update of the Map of Unique Scientific and Technical Infrastructures, Annex II (see Annex D, section d.), which allows open access to online metocean data in line with the Spanish National Strategy for Open Science for the period between 2023 and 2027. The data, therefore, are offered in a permanent open mode and are distributed in open access and near-real-time through the SOCIB Metocean Data Repository outstanding facility.
