Ciutadella Station

The station, located in the port of Ciutadella (Menorca), is part of the network established by PortsIB in 2007 under the Rissaga project. Since 2014, it has been operated by ITCS SOCIB. The primary goal of this platform is to deliver real-time data on coastal conditions in the port of Ciutadella. The station is outfitted with a profiling current meter at a depth of 6 meters, a precision barometer, and two webcams to monitor the overall state of the port.

In addition, an Automatic Identification System (AIS) antenna has been installed to provide real-time details on the identification, position, course, and speed of vessels.
