Joaquín Tintoré has been appointed member of the HyMeX International Scientific Steering Committee (ISSC)

Joaquín Tintoré, Director of SOCIB, has been appointed member of the HyMeX International Scientific Steering Committee (ISSC) since November 2010 and for a period of two years. HyMeX is the HYdrological cycle in the Mediterranean Experiment, an experimental programme including enhanced and special observation periods to address the main issues related to the water cycle in Mediterranean, with emphasis on high-impact weather events, inter-annual to decadal variability of the Mediterranean coupled system and associated trend in the context of global change.
